Business Development Manager – Full Mixed Role in International Arbitration and Construction Disputes

This BD Manager role supports a global market-leading international arbitration and disputes practice. It offers the opportunity to work with engaged partners and gain exposure to international offices and clients. The role includes support from an Executive and Senior Executive, key client responsibilities, and client-facing opportunities.

The position encompasses all aspects of business development and marketing. Daily responsibilities include:

  1. Preparation and implementation of business development plans aligned with strategic objectives.
  2. Identifying and coordinating cross-selling opportunities with other practice areas, sector specialists, and relationship partners; developing strong sector team relationships.
  3. Conducting research and analysis to identify targets for practice/sector initiatives.
  4. Liaising with partners and BD colleagues across the global network on drafting and managing practice and firm-wide panel pitches.
  5. Managing key client relationships within the Firm\’s Client Growth Portfolio.
  6. Coaching practice lawyers to develop BD skills and raise awareness of BD services.
