Business Development Manager role in a London law firm. May 2026 start date. 8 month contract, with a chance of extension. Up to £80,000.

This mid-sized law firm offers a real alternative to the larger law firms where you can gain variety working across different practice groups. You’ll enjoy working in a friendly and supporting culture and a good work life balance.

They are looking for an Interim BD Manager to cover a mat leave. It will be an initial 8 month FTC, with a high chance of extending to 12 months. The role will deputise the Head of BD, managing a range of BD projects, and leading BD for a few strategic groups. They are finalising their firmwide strategy, but this could include a focus on growing areas such as FinTech, or developing their referral network for international markets.

This role would suit a seasoned legal BD Manager, who can get stuck in. Ideally you will have experience of working cross practice and encouraging cross selling. International markets experience would be a plus!
