BD Manager role within a boutique litigation law firm. Focusing on Contentious Private Client groups. London based with 3 days in the office. Competitive salary.
This boutique specialist law firm is seeking a Business Development Manager. The role will spearhead the BD strategy and client targeting for a few of their Private Wealth Disputes areas, in particular their Tax and Trust Disputes, as well as offering support to their smaller Employment practice.
The role will involve building relationships with key referrers such as banks, accountancy firms, asset managers, as well as encouraging business planning and cross selling from the partners. This is a fantastic legal BD role for some who is looking for a strategic and client facing position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing business plans for the groups Supporting Partners in developing their own BD plans Identifying new markets and opportunities Building relationships with potential and existing referrers Attending networking events and working with the marketing team to deliver client events Implementing client feedback and follow-up processes following all trips and events Providing strategic input on marketing activities such as pitches, legal directories etc.
Ideally candidates will have considerable BD experience within the legal sector. Experience of supporting a Private Client or Disputes practice is highly desirable. Candidates need to demonstrate experience of developing BD strategies as well as managing client relationships.
