Our client, a progressive award-winning tour operator urgently requires a Travel Sales Consultant to join their team to focus on selling their scuba diving holidays. The role involves creating bespoke diving holidays based on client's requirements predominately within Asia and Australasia.
To be considered, candidates MUST either have the experience of selling scuba diving holidays or alternatively, they must be a passionate scuba diving enthusiast with a sales background, who is qualified to the very minimum of Rescue Diver with a personal log of a minimum of 100 logged dives. This role is offered on a hybrid basis - South West London.
Travel Sales Consultant - Scuba Diving Holidays responsibilities:- Plan and book diving holidays to worldwide destinations predominately Asia and Australasia
- Offering bespoke diving holidays based on client's budgets and requirements
- Ability to develop rapport with clients using personal diving knowledge and experience
- Work towards and exceed monthly sales targets
- Ensure all bookings are dealt with accurately
- Previous travel sales experience with a passion for diving or a certified diver seeking a career within travel sales
- Passion and knowledge of dive sites worldwide
- Qualified to Rescue Diver level and 100 logged dives
- An excellent telephone manner
- Attention to detail
- The ability to meet tight deadlines
- To work under pressure whilst maintaining a focus on excellent customer service.
- Basic salary from £30,000 to £35,000 based on experience
- Lucrative commission structure OTE £45,000 to £50,000
