Our client is a fast-growing certified B corporation travel company who specialise in worldwide bespoke travel itineraries with a focus on sustainable tourism. They create unforgettable tours which are focused on personalised design, authentic experiences, and responsible travel. Due to growth, they are now seeking a Travel Sales Support Executive to join their South East team which features grand tours trips within Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has travel sales support experience and would like to move into a tailormade travel consultant over the next 1-2 years. This is a hybrid role with the office based in South West London.
Travel Sales Support Executive Responsibilities:
- Responding to and qualifying holiday enquiries and incoming phone calls
- Working with the MD on US agent sales
- Building relationships with new and existing Travel Agent partners
- Booking admin support
- Help the Product Team to improve the holiday 'product'
- Support the marketing team so they can create highly engaging content
- Attend in-person sales events - in and out of office hours
Travel Sales Support Executive Experience Required:
- Previous sales support/operations experience in the travel industry
- Natural communication skills, with an ability to build relationships
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- A customer-focused approach
- A positive and energetic outlook, willing to put yourself out of your comfort zone
- Good organisational skills
- Good general literacy
- A desire to learn and be proactive in doing so
- A passion for providing something extraordinary
Travel Sales Support Executive Salary and Benefits:
- Base Salary £30,000 up to £3k Team Bonus + Annual Profit Share Bonus
- One 14 night familiarisation trip per year
- Annual personal flight allowance to one of our destinations
- 23 days holiday each full calendar year, in addition to the usual statutory holidays
- A day off for your birthday
- Pension Contribution of 3%
