Overview
Our client is a well established tour operator who specialise in creating bespoke trips to North America and Canada. They are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Travel Sales Manager to lead their sales team. This is a sales performance role with a focus on driving revenue growth and developing effective sales strategies. This is an office-based role.
Salary and Benefits
Base salary circa £40,000 based on experience. Bonuses and great benefits. Competitive performance-based commission. Fam trip opportunities. Monday to Friday, 1 in 3 Saturdays. Company pension scheme. Discounted holidays. 25 days annual leave which increases with length of service.

Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct 1:1 meetings in conjunction with the Head of business.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
- Analyse sales metrics and performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify market opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members.
Requirements
- Extensive sales management experience within the travel industry.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM software (Dolphin) and knowledge of a GDS (preferably Sabre) is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
