Retail Travel Consultant Base Salary £26,300, OTE £35,000 – £40,000 Cambridge Our client is the UK\’s premium luxury travel company specialising in worldwide beach destinations as well as luxury villas, escorted tours, river cruises etc. Dur to growth, they are now seeking to recruit a retail travel consultant to join their long-established team in their Cambridge branch to helping curate inspiring travel arrangements for their discerning clientele. This role is ideal for an experienced travel consultant from a tour operator or travel agency seeking structured career enhancement, 2 luxury FAM Trips per annum and the opportunity to earn very generous commission based on performance. Our client will also consider candidates who have worked as cabin crew or well-travelled graduates who are seeking the opportunity to develop a career within luxury travel. Experienced travel candidates seeking part time who can commit to 30 hours per week will also be considered. Please apply with your full personal travel portfolio along with your CV. Retail Travel Consultant Duties: Arranging worldwide travel arrangements for clients across all holidays to worldwide destinations including Europe, USA, Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Africa, South America, Asia Australia, New Zealand etc Booking and seeing all travel extras including tours, airport lounges, car hire, insurance etc. Participating in luxury FAM trips to further develop personal product knowledge. Liaising with suppliers. Offering the highest levels of customer service Converting incoming enquiries to a sale. Building a rapport with customers over the phone and face to face. Retail Travel Consultant Experience Required: Previous sales experience within the travel industry either from a travel agency or tour operator is essential Candidates who have worked as cabin crew or well-travelled graduates will also be considered. Ability to build a rapport with customers and deliver high levels of customer service. Sales driven with the ability to meet targets.
