Our client is an independently owned award-winning specialist tour operator who specialises in luxury holidays as well as tailormade holidays, escorted tours and cruises, for discerning clients within Europe, North Africa, Indian Ocean and the Middle East selling to both direct clients and trade partners.

Due to growth, they are now recruiting for an experienced GDS proficient Flights and Ticketing Executive to join their team. The role involves processing flight bookings, flight changes, amendments, reissues etc.

Candidates must have previous travel industry experience in a ticketing and flights specialist role with GDS knowledge. This role is offered on a fully remote basis within the UK.

Travel Flights and Ticketing Executive Duties:

  • Book and manage flight reservations for clients
  • Be fully conversant with all aspects of GDS ticketing, applicable airline contracts, consolidators and IATA procedures.
  • Issue/reissue all tickets and refunds accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring that we comply with best practice and legal requirements to avoid ADMs.
  • Managing flight cancellations and schedule changes, ensuring timely rebooking and clear communication to all clients.

Travel Flights and Ticketing Executive Experience Required:

  • Previous ticketing experience using a GDS, preferably Galileo is essential
  • Good knowledge of flights and fares
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage own workload
