We are partnering with a leading luxury inbound Destination Management Company to appoint a Head of People & Culture. This is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering a high-performing, people-centric strategy that supports business growth and an exceptional employee experience. Operating within a fast-paced, service-driven environment, the successful candidate will lead the People function, partnering closely with senior leadership to foster a culture of excellence, engagement, and continuous development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a forward-thinking People & Culture strategy aligned with business objectives
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on all people-related matters, including organisational design, performance, and employee engagement
- Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention
- Drive a high-performance culture through effective performance management, coaching, and leadership development
- Oversee employee relations, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are aligned with current employment legislation and best practice
- Lead workforce planning and succession strategies to support long-term growth
- Manage and develop HR systems, data, and reporting to inform decision-making
- Inspire and lead the People team to deliver an outstanding internal service
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior HR/People leadership role, ideally within hospitality, travel, or luxury service sectors
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into operational delivery
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cultural transformation and drive engagement
- Commercially aware, with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
- High level of integrity and discretion
