A fantastic opportunity to join our client, who is now recruiting an Account Development Assistant Manager / Senior Group Operations Assistant Manager where your principal function of this role is to take responsibility for the growth of existing customers and converting opportunities generated by the Sales Team.

The key areas of your responsibility include:

  • Pricing touring packages from agents travelling to the UK, Ireland and throughout Europe.
  • Developing relationships with existing key and developing agent accounts to increase revenues and profitability.
  • Ensuring that you deliver on your key targets including quote turnaround times, conversion levels on enquiries, % return on offer and after travel sales calls.
  • Following correct quoting procedures and determining which hotels to promote.
  • Providing scanned images and brochure material when required.
  • Creating and managing tailor-made itineraries to suit the client’s needs and expectations.
  • Researching destinations, suppliers, and services.
  • Producing regular special offers to be sent to existing and potential customers for which you have responsibility for developing.
  • Handling requests, bookings, and documents through the back-office system.

Account Development Assistant Manager skills & requirements:

  • Experience of working within a DMC within Operations and Quotations is essential.
  • Has managed group tours inbound to the UK and throughout Europe.
  • Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Ability to make decisions and to work on own initiative and in a team.
