Group Travel Operations Executive Base Salatry to £33,000 (depending on experience) + Great Benefits Our client is one of the UK’s most experienced and respected inbound tour operators who specialise in creating bespoke travel solutions for tour operators sending groups within the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now recruiting for an experienced group travel operations executive to join their team. The group travel operations executive plays a pivotal part on the business with the responsibility of booking and supporting tours, working closely with suppliers. To be considered, previous groups operations experience within the inbound travel industry is essential. This role is offered on a fully remote basis within the UK. Group Travel Operations Executive Duties and Responsibilities: Allocating services with suppliers for tour requirements including meals, guides, site entrances, ferries, trains and coaches. Quality control of services. Responsibility for operational costs for the area. Participation in preparation of data for budgets. Supervising tour itineraries within the region, checking for feasibility and logistics. Approving and processing invoices. Managing booking requirements: keeping track of assigned group space and special requirements, tracking and notifying any changes. Group Travel Operations Executive Experience Required: Extensive experience of working with groups and understanding UK Inbound tourism including its products and destinations is essential Fluency in a 2nd European language is an advantage The ability to work under tight deadlines and with budget constraints. Proficient IT skills and the ability to learn new software products a must. Ability to travel to assigned regions.
