This is a remote working from home position based in the UK only. You must be able to spend two weeks in their head office location in Cheltenham for training (accommodation and train tickets will be paid for). Our client has been established for over three decades and is an independent tour operator expanding the team through their service and tours offered to their markets.

As a Group Operations Executive, you will be responsible for booking, supporting tours and working closely with your suppliers.

Responsibilities:
  • Costing and quotations with assigned agents.
  • Allocating services with suppliers and in our systems for tour requirements including meals, guides, site entrances, ferries, trains and coaches.
  • Supervising tour itineraries within the region, checking for feasibility and logistics.
  • Managing booking requirements: keeping track of assigned group space and special requirements, tracking and notifying any changes.
Requirements:
  • MUST have previous experience of working with groups and quotations for at least 4-5 years.
  • Strong understanding of UK inbound tourism including its products and destinations.
  • Ideally having worked with Tourplan.
  • Able to train for two weeks in their head office and visit the office 3 days consecutively per month (accommodation provided).
