Our client, a small independent UK Inbound DMC, is now looking to target and grow in the Spanish and LATAM Markets. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with new business partners in the LATAM Markets to build new business for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Identify partnership opportunities within the LATAM Markets focusing on group travel, corporate clients and event planners.
- Develop and maintain new / existing relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, DMC and corporate clients in an effort to grow business and help the company expand.
- Maintain existing business.
- Represent our client at international trade shows and networking events.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE 4 - 5 years prior B2B sales within Tourism, hospitality or inbound travel.
- Proven success in Group travel / DMC / MICE or Tour Operator industry related business development experience.
- Strong network across Spain and the LATAM Markets - with a book of contacts already established.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of the UK Ireland Inbound Tourism and events landscape.
