Antella Travel Recruitment is delighted to be supporting our client, one of the UK's leading DMCs, providing comprehensive ground-handling services throughout the UK and Ireland for international groups. The company specialises in tailor-made group travel, including cultural tours, special interest programmes and experiential itineraries. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Italian-speaking Business Development Manager to develop and strengthen relationships with Italian-speaking travel agents and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Italian-speaking travel agents and travel partners
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, identifying opportunities for increased business
- Identify and develop new travel agent relationships and commercial opportunities
- Promote the company's UK and Ireland group travel products and tailor-made programmes
- Attend relevant trade events, workshops, client meetings and networking opportunities
- Work closely with Sales, Product and Operations to ensure clients receive a seamless service from enquiry through to delivery
- Monitor client activity, market trends and feedback to identify opportunities for growth
About You
- To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:
- Previous sales, account management or business development experience within the travel industry
- Experience working with travel agents, tour operators or travel partners
- Experience within UK & Ireland inbound travel, ideally with group travel or DMC experience
- Native or fluent Italian language skills
- Strong knowledge of the UK and Ireland as travel destinations
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- A confident and commercially minded approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities
- A genuine passion for travel and delivering exceptional service to travel partners
