We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Junior EHS Consultant to join our EHS consulting team in the United Kingdom. The primary focus of this role is reactive incident management. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for responding to real-time incident calls from client sites globally. This includes coordinating responses, documenting incidents accurately, and supporting clients through critical situations.
This permanent hybrid role is based on a full time 37.5-hour week and follows a Tuesday-Saturday working week. In addition to incident management, you will also contribute to broader EHS consulting activities, supporting internal operations and delivering services to global clients across diverse industries. You’ll be part of a collaborative and inclusive team that values innovation and continuous learning, working closely with consultants across Antea Group’s global network.
To be successful in this role, individuals must demonstrate:
- Provide EHS support to internal teams and external multinational clients
- Be a part of the incident management team
- Prepare clear, factual, and time-stamped reports
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders across various industries
- Apply or learn relevant EHS legislation, standards, and guidance
- Travel to client sites as needed (up to 25%)
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently under pressure
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and client-requested technologies

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field (or working towards)
- Ergonomics/DSE certification and experience a bonus
- Membership in a relevant professional body
- Ability to pass a DBS background check

This position will be a hybrid role, with travel required to Antea Group offices or client premises in the United Kingdom.
