About the Role
- Maintain and support existing customer accounts and encourage growth by recommending solutions and offering added value options in pricing, services and products.
- Respond to customer enquiries by providing prices, product information, quotes and samples.
- Use our customer relationship management system to retain key information, deepen your relationship with and communicate with the wider team.
- Support the activity of Field Sales in the development of their customer portfolio by proactively selling products/services, and contribute towards action plans for a specific customer portfolio to improve customer satisfaction, increase market share, and increase profitability.
- Process Stock and Indent customer orders, completing the administrative processes to ensure the right product is delivered at the right time

Requirements
- Confidence in sales and cross-selling with a customer-first approach
- PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to prioritise workload and multitask activities
- Capability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
