Key Responsibilities
- Recording purchase invoices using Sage accounting software
- Performing supplier statement reconciliations
- Managing weekly cash tracking across multiple business units
- Preparing weekly management reports
- Handling queries from suppliers, customers, and stakeholders
- Supporting daily banking, filing, and admin tasks
- Assisting with management accounts (accruals & prepayments)
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Carrying out bank reconciliations and petty cash checks
Requirements / Skills
- Previous accounts experience (around 2+ years preferred)
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills (e.g. Sage, Xero)
- Good communication and telephone manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Studying or interested in CIMA / ACCA preferred
Salary & Working Pattern
- Approx. £26,000 - £35,000 per year dependent on experience
