Antal International has been instructed by a leading international property business to source a Head of Client Accounts role based in Birmingham. The Head of Client Accounts will be responsible for the end-to-end process and management of Client Accounting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting internal reviews of control processes within Client Accounting to strengthen them wherever practical.
- Reviewing workflows and systems, considering automation and digital transformation if practical and cost effective.
- Overseeing activities in various locations and standardising operating processes across teams.
- Bringing the line management of the teams together into one overall team over the next 12-24 months.
- Developing a deep knowledge of the preparation and delivery of clients’ accounting requirements and their financial reporting.
- Ensuring associated controls meet RICS regulations.
- Driving change within the Client Accounting function and managing various stakeholders to ensure agreement and acceptance of greater standardisation.
- Supporting fee generation and participating in presentations to potential clients to help secure new work.
- Consulting regularly with existing clients to ensure that services meet or exceed client expectations.
