Overview

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a People Systems Replacement programme, guiding multiple HR system modules from conception to live operation. You will work with HR, IT and operations to safeguard scope, budget and timelines while upholding governance and quality. Your role coordinates several workstreams, manages dependencies, and ensures lasting business benefits. Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the People Systems Replacement project
  • Ensure delivery within scope, budget and timescales with strong governance and quality
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams and manage dependencies
  • Enable informed decision-making with senior stakeholders and suppliers
  • Deliver lasting business benefits through change, testing, training and transition
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, operations and external partners to align priorities

Key requirements

  • Significant experience delivering large-scale HR/People Systems or enterprise systems programmes
  • Strong PM expertise (planning, governance, budgets, RAID, reporting, change control)
  • Proven ability to lead multi-workstream programmes (technology, data, testing, training, transition, change)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with recognised methodologies (PRINCE2, MSP, Agile)
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., People First, Midland HR) and change management
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, Agile PM or equivalent qualification
