This role will work closely with key stakeholders within various service teams across the council and across the wider business functions, taking responsibility for providing advanced analysis and interpretation of council-wide systems, extracted from various data sources that enable key stakeholders to make informed decisions.
To deliver business intelligence services, lead Power BI software development, and present Power BI reports. The role will transform raw data into cohesive, valuable reports that capture meaningful business insights.
They will assist with complex organisational redesign projects, taking the lead in multi-disciplinary and multiple project teams to drive organisational and cultural change throughout the council. This role involves helping with intricate projects that aim to improve the structure and processes of the organisation, requiring careful planning and execution.
Additionally, they will work with teams consisting of members from different areas of expertise, not only leading but also actively contributing to these teams. The ultimate goal is to bring about significant changes in how the organisation operates.
This position is key to the successful delivery of a range of complex projects and will work across the organisation with internal and external stakeholders. The post holder will ensure that reports are delivered within budget, quality and scope and they are also responsible for the production of all related documents.
