Business Analyst

Overview

As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will drive the ongoing development and optimization of the Salesforce platform within the Digital and Technology team. You translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories, collaborate with Developers, Product Owners and stakeholders, and support testing and UAT. You analyse processes and identify efficiency gains through automation, contributing to reporting and data quality improvements. This role offers a chance to influence digital transformation and improve user experience across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the gathering, analysis and documentation of requirements for Salesforce enhancements and projects
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for engineering teams
  • Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver Salesforce solutions
  • Analyse existing processes and identify efficiency improvements via Salesforce automation and optimisation
  • Support Salesforce configuration changes, releases, testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Produce and maintain business requirements, process maps, workflows and solution documentation
  • Support user engagement, change management and adoption of new Salesforce features
  • Contribute to Salesforce reporting, dashboards and data quality improvements

Key requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Salesforce implementations, enhancements or transformation projects
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, including CRM processes, workflows, reporting and data structures
  • Experience gathering, documenting and prioritising business requirements
  • Knowledge of Salesforce best practice and platform capabilities
  • Experience supporting system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with Excel, reporting and data analysis
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or other business intelligence tools would be advantageous
