An established precision engineering business based in South Ruislip is currently seeking a reliable and detail-focused Assembler to join their team on a temporary basis due to increased workload. This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with previous assembly or production experience who enjoys working with precision components and following technical instructions.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies, ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly of mechanical components and sub-assemblies
  • Working from engineering drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions
  • Using hand tools and basic workshop equipment safely and correctly
  • Carrying out visual and basic quality checks on assembled parts
  • Identifying and reporting any defects, faults, or missing components
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Supporting wider production and workshop tasks where required
  • Working to production schedules and deadlines

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, production, or engineering environment (preferred)
  • Confident using hand tools and basic assembly equipment
  • Ability to follow instructions and technical drawings
