JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a consultant in Nephrology to join one of the prestigious hospital in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will lead the nephrology team, providing advanced care for patients with kidney-related conditions. Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, leading research initiatives, overseeing the delivery of exceptional nephrology services, and ensuring the highest standards of care for patients with kidney diseases.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides high-quality nephrology care to patients in this area of medicine.
- Provide consultative service as requested.
- Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
- Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.
- Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
- Performs special procedures as privileged.
- Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
- Completion of required period of training in nephrology.
- American Board/MRCPCH-Irish, UK, Canadian, Australian & New Zealand/DES/CIS/ Diplome di Medico Specialist Italy / SCR Holland/Swedish Board/German Fachartz/Austrian Fachartz/CCST UK/Saudi Board/Arab Board & sub board/ Fellowship
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
- Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
- Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in nephrology.
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council
Language
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
