HSE Director – Thames Valley and South of England

Antac is a dedicated team of 500 facilities-related professionals across the UK, seeking a HSE Director to oversee our Health and Safety team.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Health and Safety professional to influence senior leadership and improve safety performance in a rapidly expanding organization. The role involves shaping strategic direction and maintaining a hands-on approach to embed safety and sustainability culture throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the HSE team; identify and provide necessary training.
  • Cultivate a safety-first culture, ensuring HSE practices are integrated into all operations.
  • Monitor compliance with HSE procedures and KPIs; implement corrective actions.
  • Manage risk and maintain ISO accreditations and IMS standards.
  • Lead incident investigations and report performance metrics to the Board.
  • Represent the company on all HSE matters, positioning it as an industry leader.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven senior HSE leadership experience, preferably in Facilities Management, Property Maintenance, or Construction.
  • Qualifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, CMIOSH, IEMA.
  • Knowledge of ISO Management Systems and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
  • Experience managing large, dispersed teams and driving cultural change.
  • Passion for HSE and a track record of operational and cultural transformation.

Salary and Benefits:
