About the Company

The Role
Support electrical installation, vehicle maintenance and tachograph work on an operational fleet and customer vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out tachograph installation, calibration and testing within your authorisation.
- Protect tachograph equipment and data through secure handling and storage.
- Fit electrical equipment, including lighting and camera systems.
- Inspect and service vehicles and diagnose faults involving Euro 6 engines, air suspension and braking systems.
- Apply sound wiring practices and report problems through workshop procedures.
Skills and Experience Required
- NVQ Level 3 Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent.
- At least one year of post-apprenticeship experience in a varied environment.
- Understanding of vehicle wiring principles and practices.
- Full driving licence and good IT, communication and organisational skills.
Candidate Profile
The role combines electrical work with practical vehicle maintenance. When speaking with ANT, explain which tasks you perform independently and which require additional training or authorisation. Accurate diagnosis, secure data handling and a methodical approach to vehicle systems will be important discussion points.
