About the Role
ANT Recruitment is supporting an established UK rotary-wing aviation organisation with the appointment of an experienced B1.3 Licensed Field Engineer.
This varied position combines hangar-based maintenance with field engineering support at customer bases throughout the UK. It is well suited to a proactive engineer who enjoys fault-finding, travelling and working independently in operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled helicopter maintenance
- Conduct aircraft inspections, fault diagnosis and defect rectification
- Travel to customer bases throughout the UK
- Provide field-maintenance and AOG engineering support
- Certify maintenance within the scope of your licence and company approvals
- Respond professionally to operational engineering requirements
- Ensure compliance with UK CAA regulations and company procedures
- Maintain accurate technical and maintenance records
- Work closely with engineering, planning and customer teams
- Work away from the main facility and provide occasional out-of-hours support
Essential Requirements
- UK CAA Part-66 B1.3 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
- Strong rotary-wing maintenance experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and defect-rectification skills
- Willingness to travel regularly and work away from the main facility
- Flexibility to provide occasional out-of-hours support
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Existing right to work in the UK
Desirable Experience
- Leonardo AW109 or AW169 type rating
- Previous field-maintenance or AOG experience
- VIP or HEMS helicopter maintenance experience
- Experience within a UK CAA Part-145 environment
Type-rating training may be available for a suitably licensed engineer.
