About the Company
ANT Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established vehicle hire business seeking a practical mechanic to support its workshop operation.
The Role
Maintain the vehicle hire fleet through servicing, inspections and repairs, helping the workshop provide safe, dependable vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled servicing and vehicle inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete repairs.
- Maintain accurate workshop and repair records.
- Communicate repair requirements with workshop and rental colleagues.
- Follow safe working procedures and maintain repair quality.
Skills and Experience
- NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
- Proven vehicle maintenance and diagnostic experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own basic hand tools; specialist equipment and PPE are provided.
Candidate Profile
A methodical technician who takes responsibility for quality, works well with others and keeps clear records.
