Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Captain Master to lead the transfer of a vessel during its relocation. This role entails full command responsibility, ensuring safe navigation, compliance with maritime regulations, and effective leadership of the crew during the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume full command of the vessel, overseeing all navigational and operational aspects.
- Ensure compliance with COLREGS, SOLAS, ISM Code, and other relevant maritime regulations.
- Conduct predeparture safety checks and risk assessments.
- Lead and manage the crew, ensuring operational discipline and safety.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders throughout the voyage.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW Master Certificate of Competency.
- Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 3 years command experience on vessels under 500GT.
- Clean criminal record (background check mandatory).
- Ability to mobilise to the South East England region within 3 hours of alert.
