This platform enhances interactions between brands and customers, enabling global merchants to distribute a wide range of discounts to users of various digital payment platforms, ultimately helping them acquire and retain consumers.
We are seeking a results-driven aviation and travel expert to acquire new merchant accounts within the aviation economy. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle for a targeted portfolio of EMEA Headquartered airlines. You will leverage your deep sector expertise to promote our tailored payment, payout, and embedded finance solutions, directly addressing the complex challenges of airline merchants.
Key Responsibilities- Vertical-Focused Client Retention and Acquisition: A hybrid function - Prospect and secure new airline merchant customers as well as day-to-day account management and upselling of new solutions to existing clients by developing strategic relationships while value-based selling.
- Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Build and manage a robust pipeline. Navigate complex sales cycles from prospecting to close, consistently delivering against targets for wins and account growth.
- Consultative Solution Selling: Act as a trusted advisor and aviation payments expert on Antom's payment stack and group services, articulating the value of our solutions for airlines and travel platforms.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work seamlessly with cross-functional internal stakeholders during high profile pursuits. Act as the deal team "quarterback" to develop compelling proposals and ensure a superior outcome.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain authoritative knowledge of trends within the travel and aviation sector, including competitor activity and relevant regulatory landscapes. Use these insights to inform strategy and position Antom as the expert partner for aviation.
- Proven track record in sales and account management with direct experience in payments, fintech, or SaaS, specifically targeting airlines and large market travel accounts.
- Deep understanding of the payment, operational, and growth challenges specific to the travel and airline sector, including knowledge of key travel and airline industry players and solutions (GDS', IATA, BSP etc).
- Demonstrable experience selling complex solutions to c-suite, heads of finance, treasury, heads of payments or technical decision-makers.
- Ability to operate effectively as an independent contributor (IC), managing a strategic pipeline with minimal supervision.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Proficient in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
