What You'll Be Doing: Developing, specifying, and writing comprehensive test cases for ANSYS CFD software, ensuring thorough coverage of product requirements. Creating, modifying, and updating existing tests, and writing and maintaining test scripts for both manual and automated testing environments. Executing functional, application, regression, and performance testing to validate software quality and reliability. Investigating and analyzing potential causes of problems, collaborating with technical specialists to resolve product issues. Creating detailed test plans and participating actively in defect management and testing metrics tracking. Applying standard techniques and procedures in compliance with Synopsys’ development and testing processes, maintaining high standards of quality. Working across a variety of computing environments, including Windows, Linux, and high‑performance computing platforms. Assisting with validation and verification studies, contributing to continuous improvement of the software.

What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering (or related field) with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with no experience required. Solid understanding of numerical methods and algorithms commonly used in CFD. Experience using CFD software to solve engineering problems. Proficiency in software testing and verification, preferably in a large‑scale commercial environment. Strong computing skills, including experience with scripting languages such as Python, and familiarity with both Windows and Linux platforms.
