Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source new sales opportunities through cold calls, targeted email campaigns, and professional Shopify ecosystem networks.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to incoming leads, product enquiries, and referrals, creating tailored proposals to address specific client needs.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and training sessions online.
  • Leverage our extensive data lists to reach potential clients, driving significant commission opportunities.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with existing customers, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and broader team to develop and execute strategic business development plans, optimising processes and sales targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, online webinars, and Shopify partner conferences.
  • Act as the bridge between our customers and product development, gathering client feedback to continually enhance our offerings.
  • Consistently track and manage your sales pipeline in our CRM system, meeting defined KPIs and targets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in business development, preferably within the Shopify ecosystem or selling SaaS/apps.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with retail clients, ideally with existing Shopify app selling experience.
  • Self-driven and passionate with a hunter mentality; motivated to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to tailor pitches to various audiences.
  • Previous experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales productivity tools.
  • Fluent in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
