You will join as a Senior Sous Chef that values leadership, creativity, collaboration, and pride in everything they do, supporting the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team, maintaining exceptional standards, and delivering outstanding food experiences. Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen operation
  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food and service standards
  • Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Assist with menu development and seasonal dish creation
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and food cost targets
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and COSHH regulations
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of junior chefs
  • Maintain a positive and professional kitchen culture

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a quality hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and high-quality food
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen compliance
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
