EPM Assistant Manager – Workday Adaptive Planning

As an EPM Assistant Manager, you’ll combine financial insight and technical skills to deliver scalable, cloud-based performance management solutions—most notably using Workday Adaptive Planning. You’ll also be part of a collaborative team with a strong internal culture, high-profile projects, and clear pathways to career growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and supporting the delivery of end-to-end EPM solutions, primarily using Workday Adaptive Planning
- Designing, building, and testing models, sheets, and reports for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Collaborating with internal teams and clients to translate business needs into practical solutions
- Coaching junior consultants and contributing to internal knowledge-sharing
- Supporting business development and contributing to client proposals
What you’ll bring
- 3–5 years’ experience in EPM consulting or finance transformation
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, including model building, cube/sheet design, and OfficeConnect reporting
- Understanding of financial processes and planning cycles
- Experience in client-facing environments (consulting background is a plus)
- Adaptive Planning certification(s) highly preferred
- Broader EPM/ERP tool knowledge (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle, SAP, OneStream) is beneficial
- Finance qualifications (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA) are an advantage but not essential
Location & Working Model
- Base: London (main team hub), with options to work from other UK offices such as Bristol, Manchester, or Birmingham
- Hybrid model: Typically 2 days per week on client site, with monthly team meetups in London
- Some travel may be required depending on project needs
