We are seeking a high-caliber Data Scientist Specialist with a strong focus on MLOps to join our dynamic team. This role is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge AI solutions within highly secure government and defense environments. You will work at the intersection of data science and engineering to build, deploy, and manage sophisticated machine learning models.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Act as the subject matter expert for Machine Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Model Deployment: Build and deploy LLMs and ML models within Cloud environments or on High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters.
- Innovation: Stay at the forefront of GenAI advancements and integrate latest trends into client solutions.
- Project Management: Lead day-to-day technical engagements and mentor/performance manage a small technical team.
- Consultancy: Translate complex technical solutions for non-technical stakeholders through clear writing and impactful presentations.
Technical Requirements
- Programming: Robust Python skills are mandatory.
- AI Architectures: Deep understanding of one or more: Agentic AI, Graph RAG, Traditional RAG, Vision Language Models/Computer Vision, or Audio Processing.
- Engineering Tools: Experience with Docker, Linux/Unix CLI, Git, and automated testing.
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in a major cloud provider (AWS or Azure preferred).
- Governance: Solid knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
- Familiarity with GPU utilization in cloud environments.
- Experience building APIs and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools for ML pipelines and data health.
- Strong foundation in DevOps and Data Engineering principles.
