Java Technical Lead Location : Remote (with in-person developer days in London every 4 weeks) Rate : £600–£625 per day (Inside IR35) Contract Length : 3 months rolling (long-term potential) The Opportunity An exciting opportunity for a skilled Java Tech Lead to join a high-profile project, contributing to the development and enhancement of innovative digital solutions. Key Responsibilities Build, enhance, and maintain robust Java-based applications using Spring Framework. Develop and manage infrastructure with AWS and Terraform, ensuring scalability and reliability. Design complex systems with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability. Organize and lead sprints, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver key milestones. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, sharing insights and innovations to optimize development processes. What’s Required Proven experience in Java development and working with the Spring Framework. Strong knowledge of AWS and Terraform for cloud-based infrastructure. Expertise in system design and the ability to deliver well-architected solutions. Hands-on experience organizing and leading agile sprints.
