The Role - Remedy Consultant (SC)
As a Remedy Consultant (SC), you will design, develop, and maintain applications within the BMC Remedy ITSM suite. The Remedy Consultant (SC) will work closely with technology and automation teams to enhance and transform enterprise service management platforms, improving both business processes and end-user experience. This role follows a hybrid working model and offers exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and enterprise integrations.
What You'll Be Doing as a Remedy Consultant (SC)
- Design, develop, and customise BMC Remedy applications, including workflows, forms, active links, and filters
- Configure and support ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Remedy environment
- Optimise application performance, ensuring scalability and long-term sustainability
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Remedy with other enterprise systems
- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and upgrades to the Remedy platform
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Remedy Consultant (SC), Remedy Developer, or similar role
- BMC Remedy ITSM certification
- Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and best practices
- Experience with cloud-based deployments of Remedy applications
- Hands-on experience developing and customising workflows, integrations, and configurations
- Programming or scripting experience (e.g. JavaScript)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator, able to collaborate effectively at all levels
Security Clearance
SC clearance is required for this role. Candidates must be eligible to obtain SC, including:
- Continuous UK residency for the last 5 years
- Meeting nationality and security vetting requirements
- Some roles may be restricted to sole UK nationals
