We are currently supporting a number of opportunities for Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to lead the planning and delivery of medium to large-scale projects and programmes within a complex engineering and defence environment.

The Opportunity

You will join a growing Project Management function supporting a diverse portfolio of strategically important programmes across areas including software, navigation, sensors, algorithms and complex engineering. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of delivery, working across multidisciplinary and international teams to drive projects on time, on cost and on quality.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading projects and programmes from planning through to delivery
  • Managing cost, schedule, risk and performance
  • Working with senior stakeholders and influencing across multiple functions
  • Supporting bids, tenders and estimating
  • Managing complex problems and developing practical solutions
  • Driving effective project management processes and best practice
  • Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary and multinational teams
  • Supporting and motivating project teams through delivery

What we are looking for:

  • Proven Project or Programme Management experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience managing cost, schedules, risks and delivery
  • Exposure to bidding, tendering or estimating
  • Strong commercial and business judgement
  • Ability to operate confidently in complex or ambiguous environments
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary teams
  • A proactive, resilient and collaborative approach
