An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Software Verification and Validation Engineer to join a highly regarded engineering organisation working on advanced, safety-critical systems. This role sits within a specialist embedded software team delivering complex, real-time solutions.

- Develop and execute verification and validation activities for embedded software systems.
- Translate system and software requirements into structured, traceable test cases and procedures.
- Prepare, run, and document tests within a controlled lab environment.
- Capture and analyse test data, providing clear and actionable feedback to engineering teams.
- Support the full software lifecycle, ensuring quality and compliance at each stage.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to validate performance across electro-mechanical systems.
- Proven experience in verification and validation within an embedded software environment.
- Background in embedded software development, with experience using Ada.
- Strong ability to derive test cases from requirements and execute structured testing.
- Experience working in lab-based environments on systems combining software and hardware.
- Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- Scripting experience to support testing and automation activities.
- Experience with breakpoint analysis or structured code reviews.
