Overview Project Manager – Software Implementations Location : Northampton (Hybrid, 2 days a week) Salary : Up to £65,000 (depending on experience) + 20% bonus We are seeking a talented Project Manager to drive the end-to-end delivery of software projects within a complex and fast-moving environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong stakeholder management, rigorous planning, and the ability to land change successfully across business and technology functions. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of off-the-shelf software implementation projects from inception through to completion. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business, operations, and technology to ensure buy-in and successful adoption. Prepare business and technology teams for change through structured planning, forecasting, and communication. Manage project risks, dependencies, budgets, and resources, ensuring delivery against agreed time, cost, and quality. Operate within governance frameworks, producing required documentation and clear reporting. Close projects effectively, ensuring lessons learned and business readiness are embedded. What We’re Looking For Proven experience managing software implementation projects Background in fast-paced, matrixed environments where priorities can shift quickly. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior colleagues. Strong communication skills, able to bring clarity to complex change. Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches . Strong organisational, risk management, and problem-solving capabilities. Desirable: Knowledge of financial services or payments would be a strong advantage.
