Im working with a leading global consultancy who are looking to bring in an experienced Data Architect to join their growing team, delivering large-scale transformation programmes across both public and private sector clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping data strategy and architecture for high-profile, complex programmes with real-world impact.
What youll be doing:
- Defining end-to-end data architecture across enterprise-level programmes
- Shaping data strategy, including migration, integration, and modelling approaches
- Designing scalable data solutions across distributed and microservices-based systems
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand existing systems and define future-state architecture
- Producing architecture standards, frameworks, and governance models
- Supporting delivery teams and ensuring alignment to architectural principles
- Leading, mentoring, and developing other engineers and architects
What were looking for:
- Strong experience as a Data Architect within complex environments
- Background in software engineering (Java, Scala, or Python preferred)
- Experience with Big Data technologies and distributed data platforms
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data solutions
- Experience designing for both structured and unstructured data
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and REST-based systems
- Strong data modelling experience
