The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a consulting professional to join a fast-growing National Security practice at the Assistant Manager level. You will lead technology-enabled change programmes, contribute to business development, and work directly with senior client stakeholders in the national security and defence space.
Due to the nature of the work, applicants must hold active eDV clearance aligned to a National Security organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting large-scale transformation programmes across National Security engagements
- Developing robust problem-solving methodologies and structuring complex analysis
- Producing clear, high-quality client deliverables including reports, slide decks and business cases
- Engaging regularly with Partners, Directors, Senior Managers and client leadership teams
- Contributing to project planning, work plans, timelines and resource allocation
- Building strong client relationships across all levels of seniority
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven track record delivering complex consulting projects (business/operating model change, strategy development, strategic cost efficiency, investment decision support, or business case development)
- Demonstrable experience developing Business Cases
- Strong command of consulting problem-solving methodologies, adapted for complex client challenges
- Proficient in qualitative and quantitative analysis, storyboarding, slide and report creation
- Ability to influence, build relationships and present effectively to senior stakeholders
- Active eDV clearance essential
Nice to Have
- Prior consulting experience within a Big 4 or mid-tier consultancy
- Sector-specific knowledge of the Defence or National Security market
