Contract Business Analyst
Up to £450 per day | Inside IR35 | Manchester or Leeds (2 days onsite per Month)
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major public sector digital transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative Agile environment, helping to shape and deliver user-centred digital services.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse and document business and user requirements
- Facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders across multiple business areas
- Create and manage high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria
- Support product delivery teams in an Agile environment
- Translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements
- Contribute to service design and continuous improvement activities
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the public sector
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills
- Extensive experience writing user stories and managing requirements
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Desirable
- Experience working within the GDS framework
- Previous involvement in Discovery and/or Alpha phases of digital projects
- Experience delivering user-centred digital services

- Rate: Up to £450 per day
- IR35: Inside IR35 through umbrella
- Location: Manchester or Leeds
- Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week
