We’re seeking a Senior Security Consultant (AI) to join their National Security AI team in London. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll help clients secure AI/ML systems, advise on emerging AI threats, and design resilient architectures across cloud and hybrid environments. What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct security assessments, threat modelling, and risk analysis across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Evaluate and secure AI/ML systems, including model governance, data pipelines, and deployment patterns.
- Advise on AI risk management: prompt injection, model poisoning, data leakage, privacy risks, and adversarial attacks.
- Design and recommend secure architectures for AI-enabled applications, including LLM-based systems and decision-support platforms.
- Develop security policies, standards, and guidelines, particularly around AI governance and responsible AI use.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure configurations, guardrails, and controls.

Ideal Background
- Proven experience in cybersecurity consulting, architecture, or engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals: IAM, network security, encryption, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Hands-on experience securing AI/ML systems, LLMs, or data science pipelines.
- Knowledge of modern attack techniques including AI-assisted attacks, adversarial ML, and supply-chain risks.
- Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP) and industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP, MITRE ATLAS).
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable:
- CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, CEH, GIAC, or cloud security certifications.
- Experience with AI model evaluation, fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, or vector databases.
- Knowledge of AI ethics, governance, and regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, automation, IaC, and security control integrations.
Security Clearance: Required. Candidates must be eligible for SC/DV clearance.
What You’ll Receive
- Flexible working hours and hybrid working options (3 days in London office per week).
- 25 days annual leave with option to buy/sell/carry over.
- Flexible benefits: private medical and dental insurance, pension, cycle-to-work scheme, Tastecard, and more.
- Dedicated Career Manager for personal development and progression.
- Company bonus scheme and Diversity & Inclusion groups.
