🔧 Platform Engineer (AWS) – National Security
📍 London (Hybrid)

I’m supporting a major global technology & intelligence organisation expanding its cloud engineering teams across secure government projects. They’re looking for people who combine strong AWS engineering with great communication — the kind of engineers who can collaborate, explain, influence, and shape solutions.
This is meaningful work, complex work, and work that genuinely matters.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing and deploying secure AWS platforms for mission-critical systems
- Building CI/CD pipelines used on high-sensitivity programmes
- Working alongside multidisciplinary teams: DevOps, architects, software engineers, security specialists
- Creating PoCs and leading delivery across complex cloud environments
- Applying strong engineering discipline (testing, automation, quality gates, Git best practice)
What they’re looking for
- Strong AWS deployment & platform engineering experience
- Programming in Python, Java, JavaScript or .NET
- Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Git, TeamCity etc.)
- Clear, confident communication — consulting-style profiles very welcome
- Eligible for DV Clearance (10 years UK residency required)
Nice to have
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Ansible or similar automation
- Exposure to ML/AI tooling (AWS/Azure/GCP)
