Senior Recruitment Consultant @ Anson McCade | IT Recruitment Specialist
Leeds (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Up to £72,000 – Permanent
️ Help build the platforms that protect the UK — right here in Leeds.
This growing consultancy delivers cutting-edge digital solutions for the UK Government and National Security sector. Their Leeds team is a key part of that mission — working with purpose, solving real-world problems, and staying connected to the local tech scene.
They’re now looking for Senior Platform Engineers who want to work on meaningful projects, with the freedom to innovate and grow.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with engineers, architects and analysts in agile, cross-functional teams
- Building and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, Bamboo or Bitbucket
- Writing clean, consistent code with automated testing and static analysis tools
- Getting hands-on across cloud, automation and modern DevOps tooling
What you’ll bring:
- Experience developing in at least one modern programming language
- Strong understanding of agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
- Hands-on with Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD tools
- A creative and collaborative mindset
- UK Security Clearance eligibility (British or dual British citizen only)
Nice to have (or build with us):
- Experience with AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes
- Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible or Terraform
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL / NoSQL / Graph)
- Exposure to ML platforms (e.g. TensorFlow, Azure ML)
