Role Overview: Collaborate with leading corporate and investment institutions to define and deliver strategy for business and regulatory-driven change. Lead programmes and contribute to growth through thought leadership and business development. Work in cross-functional teams to drive continuous business performance improvement. Identify and mitigate delivery risks while applying strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Maintain a value-driven approach, focusing on client impact and strategic goals. Support the development of junior team members and contribute to business growth across diverse projects. Take part in business development efforts including RFPs, proposals, client pitches, and proposition development. Contribute internally through campaign development, whitepapers, operations, recruitment, and team events. Engage in learning and development through certifications and tailored training programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate approximately £1m in consulting revenues through business development initiatives.
- Lead large-scale regulatory change programmes (e.g., Basel 3.x, FRTB, DORA, Operational Resilience, Market Abuse Regulations).
- Bring cross-asset class experience in both product and regulatory contexts, ideally across front, middle, and back office functions.
- Offer deep knowledge in wholesale lending and transaction banking.
- Develop strategic roadmaps for digitisation initiatives, including AI, cloud, Web3, DLT, and digital assets.
- Understand the three lines of defence and how controls are implemented across the trade lifecycle.
- Possess knowledge and experience in ESG-related work.
- Demonstrate people management capability and a proven track record in mentoring and team development.
- Lead proposition development and sales campaign execution.
- Blend consulting and industry experience for an agile, effective approach.
