This is a hands-on role where youll work with modern data technologies, building scalable pipelines and real-time data platforms that power analytics and AI-driven decision making.
What youll be doingBuilding and optimising scalable data pipelines using Java (primary) and technologies like Kafka, Flink, or SparkDeveloping real-time streaming solutions and event-driven architectures using AWS services (Kinesis, MSK, Lambda, Glue)Contributing to data architecture, modelling, and best practices across modern data platformsDeploying and maintaining solutions using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Collaborating with analytics, AI, and product teams to deliver high-quality, reliable datasetsWhat theyre looking forStrong experience in data engineering or large-scale data platforms (3+ years)Proficiency in Java or PythonHands-on experience with streaming technologies (Kafka / Flink preferred)Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS ideally)Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practicesWhy consider this role?
