Our client is continuing to expand its data engineering capability as demand grows across large-scale digital transformation and national security-focused programmes.
They are looking to hire Data Engineers to support the development, optimisation and maintenance of modern data platforms and pipelines used across highly complex environments. This role is focused on building scalable data flows, transforming and managing large datasets, and supporting cloud-based data infrastructure for downstream analytics and operational use.
You’ll work closely with data architects, analysts and wider engineering teams to help organisations better process, store and utilise data in fast-moving and technically challenging environments. The position is London-based with hybrid working.
- Building, improving and maintaining ETL and data processing pipelines.
- Supporting cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure.
- Applying software engineering and DataOps best practices to data delivery.
- Translating business requirements into scalable data engineering solutions.
- Supporting data modelling, orchestration, transformation and secure data management practices.
Requirements:
- Around 2–4 years’ experience within Data Engineering environments.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience building ETL pipelines and data transformation processes.
- Exposure to cloud-based data environments and infrastructure.
- Understanding of data modelling, orchestration and data management principles.
- Ability to work within agile, delivery-focused technical teams.
