Principal Delivery Manager
Location: UK-Wide
Salary: Up to £150,000
We’re working with one of the UK’s most respected digital transformation consultancies, supporting their continued growth in the Public Sector and Health space. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Delivery Manager who thrives at the intersection of large-scale digital programmes, people leadership, and client growth. You’ll own multimillion-pound projects (some well into the tens of millions), lead multidisciplinary teams of 40–50+ and drive value by landing and expanding major public and health sector accounts.
Key Responsibilities
• Set and own the delivery strategy and critical success outcomes for digital transformation programmes
• Manage large, multi-disciplinary teams of 40+ (designers, engineers, architects, analysts)
• Own the full project lifecycle including budgeting, forecasting, risk, governance and quality
• Lead on commercial conversations and contracts; ensure profitable delivery and sustained growth
• Serve as the escalation point for all delivery-related matters, resolving blockers efficiently
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders within Public Sector or Health organisations
• Partner with sales/account teams to expand existing accounts and identify future project work

Key Skills & Expertise
• 5+ years in senior delivery roles within a recognised digital consultancy
• Proven track record delivering bespoke mobile/web apps using Agile methodologies
• Deep experience managing budgets of £10M+ and project portfolios at scale
• Strong exposure to Public Sector or Health-led engagements (must have one or the other)
• Ability to build high-performing, multidisciplinary teams and drive performance across them
• Experience in identifying, qualifying and landing follow-on work or wider account growth
• Commercial acumen and calm under pressure—able to steer complex client environments

• Up to £150,000 base + 15% bonus
