About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our growing engineering team and play a key role in designing, building, and scaling modern cloud platforms on AWS. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll tackle complex technical challenges, shape cloud architecture, and help drive best practices across infrastructure, automation, and DevOps.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Solve complex business and technical problems using modern cloud‑native approaches
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
- Build and deploy microservices and event‑driven architectures
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile delivery environments
- Improve system reliability, monitoring, and observability across platforms
- Contribute to best practices in security, cost optimisation (FinOps), and performance
What You’ll Bring
Core Experience- Strong experience with AWS, with deep knowledge of services such as: EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, KMS, ELB, SNS, SQS, IAM
- Proven ability to design and deliver solutions to complex business challenges
- Experience coding in at least one Lambda‑compatible language
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- AWS Certification (Associate level or higher)
- Experience with microservices and API design
- Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, and cloud operations
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Bitbucket)
- Automated testing experience
- Good understanding of Linux, networking, and security fundamentals
