Salesforce Solutions Architect

A leading digital consultancy is expanding its Salesforce capability and seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to join its newly established practice. This is a pivotal role for a visionary architect passionate about delivering secure, scalable, and innovative Salesforce solutions that drive real business value. The successful candidate needs to be hold certifications as a Salesforce Application Architect & System Architect

As a technical leader, the Senior Salesforce Architect will take ownership of architectural decisions and end-to-end technical delivery across high-impact Salesforce engagements. Working alongside agile delivery teams, this individual will translate complex business needs into robust solutions – championing platform-first approaches, AI integration, and low time-to-value design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Head up cross-functional agile teams to design, implement, and integrate Salesforce solutions – including data migration and AI-enabled capabilities – across the Sales, Service, Experience, and Data Cloud platforms.
• Collaborate directly with customer architects and senior stakeholders to align on solution designs, ensuring clarity on technical complexity, scalability, and effort estimation.
• Drive Excellence: Support delivery planning, risk mitigation, and compliance with best practices and architectural standards across all projects.
• Be the Bridge: Act as a key technical liaison with clients, Salesforce UK, and the wider partner ecosystem.
• Work closely with sales and account teams to identify and qualify opportunities, contribute to proposals, and support presales and business development activity.
• Mentor, manage, and inspire members of the Salesforce practice, supporting their professional growth and performance.
• Contribute to the Ecosystem: Publish thought leadership, speak at events, and actively engage in the Salesforce community to grow your professional profile and network.

About You – Essential Experience:

• Proven experience delivering large-scale Salesforce implementations as a Solution Architect, ideally within the UK public sector.
• Deep expertise across the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud), with strong awareness of third-party integrations and the wider ecosystem.
• Certified Salesforce Application Architect and System Architect.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills – able to clearly articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experienced in balancing functional and non-functional requirements, with a strong understanding of integration with cloud and legacy systems (e.g. AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365).
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model and willing to travel across the UK for client engagements and Salesforce events (approx. 8 days/month).

Desirable:

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
• Active or eligible for UK Government Security Clearance (SC or DV).
• Certifications in industry-specific Salesforce solutions (e.g. Public Sector Solutions).
• Experience managing or mentoring team members, including performance reviews and career development.
• Strong presence in the technology community – through blogging, events, or forums.
• Ability to effectively manage time across multiple complex projects.
